Pat Spencer
Managing Director of Moneytree
Pat began his career in banking, focusing on small-business and commercial lending. After a decade in banking, he transitioned to the tech industry, working with a firm that sold commercial lending software to banks. Combining his banking and technology experience, Pat became a thought leader and public speaker in the fintech space for over a decade, helping start-up banks and credit unions establish business banking strategies. His experience led him to working with two more technology companies before coming to Moneytree in May 2020.
As Managing Director, Pat brings his combination of industry knowledge, business development, and technical expertise to lead the executive responsibilities for Moneytree. Moneytree has a long-standing reputation as the most technically accurate financial planning tool, and Pat’s goal is to bring the product to a larger audience that desires comprehensive planning for their clients.
Pat has undergraduate degrees in Management and Psychology from Ball State University (Muncie, IN) and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University, Kelley School of Business (Bloomington, IN).
Brandon Jeffress
Executive Director of Sales
Brandon joined the Accutech/Moneytree team in 2019 and brings more than 18 years of sales and sales-leadership experience in financial services software and technology. He is passionate about taking on challenges in leadership, culture, processes, people, and client relationships to spur new growth. He believes that growth creates excitement and boosts morale at every level of a company. If a company is thriving, the enthusiasm is almost tangible.
As a Certified John Maxwell Team Member and Coach, Brandon approaches every situation with the understanding that growing your company requires a focus on growing your people.
Prior to joining Accutech/Moneytree, Brandon authored his first sales-centric book titled “Stop Selling & Start Helping – The proven guide to phenomenal sales results.” His focus on building a culture on helping clients rather than convincing them to buy has proven to be effective.
He holds a BA degree in Computer Science Business from Anderson University and currently resides with his family in Denver, CO.
Dan Wright
Executive Director of Strategy
Dan joined the Accutech/Moneytree team in 2018 and brings over 20 years of executive leadership in corporate, entrepreneurial, and academic environments. He has developed and executed business plans for both start-up and mature organizations and led the development of software applications and services in a variety of industries. He developed the business and marketing operations for a non-profit organization that saw revenues grow from $2M to $10M in five years.
Dan served as the Chief Information Officer in two hospital systems prior to launching an information technology services company. As co-founder and CEO, he led the company for 8 years before negotiating the sale of the firm and its software products. He most recently served in senior leadership positions at a college in New Jersey, first as Executive Vice President, and later as the institution’s Provost and Chief Academic Officer.
Dan has also served in a variety of community and non-profit service roles, including Councilman for the Borough of Bound Brook, New Jersey.
He holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Ph.D. in Leadership at the University of the Cumberlands.
Linc Mitchell
Executive Director of Operations
Linc joined Cheetah in 2015 and brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the software and information technology industry from startups to Fortune 10 firms. Linc brings experience in strategy creation and execution, development of high performing teams, metric generation, and client relationship management. He has led 100+ member teams and managed $50 million budgets. Linc has also served in a variety of non-profit service roles, including board positions with the Grant County YMCA and the Northeast Indiana Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Prior to joining ASC, Linc held positions at IBM, Lockheed Martin, and Lincoln Financial, in addition to smaller technology firms.
Linc graduated from Indiana University, Kelley School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business – Finance, and received a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Matt Garrett
Product Manager
Matt began his career in the financial services industry over a decade-and-a-half ago, most recently as Literature Coordinator and Analytics Desk at Capital Group/American Funds. Matt uses his expertise to craft and cultivate Moneytree’s products to create a bright future for the software users. Through his vision and attention to detail, Matt ensures that advisors have a platform they can share proudly with their clients. In his free time, Matt enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife and daughter.
Lyn Whitesell
Marketing Manager
Lyn came to Moneytree in 2022 with valuable visual design and brand experience in the banking and design agency sectors.
Throughout her two-decades in the visual communication field, Lyn has provided brand leadership to well-known companies and institutions. Her professional portfolio includes consumer products, utility companies, higher education, and more.
Lyn has won numerous regional and national awards for branding, advertising, visual design, and communications, including the prestigious American Advertising Federation Silver Medal Award. The Silver Medal Award is the highest honor given in the advertising industry.
Lyn is passionate about helping others. She has donated her design talent to various charities and has contributed her fine artwork to be auctioned for the benefit of nonprofits throughout the Midwest. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from Ball State University with a major in Graphic Design/Visual Communication.
Kyle Bean
Customer Support Manager
Kyle joined the Moneytree team in 2021 as a Client Support Specialist. Since then, he has worked in every capacity of our Client Support team, including as a Team Lead and a Technical Support Specialist. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and a Master of Science in Information and Communication Sciences from Ball State University. Kyle is passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences and fostering strong relationships.
Outside of work, Kyle enjoys traveling with his wife, spending quality time with family and friends, and making an effort to enjoy running. Whether connecting with loved ones or challenging himself with new activities, Kyle brings positivity and dedication to all aspects of his life.
Adam Unger
Chief Executive Officer
Adam Unger is Chief Executive Officer of Accutech Systems Corporation (the holding company of Moneytree) and has been working with Accutech since 1999. Prior to becoming CEO in 2023, his roles included: Inside Sales, Director of Marketing, COO, and President. Adam is responsible for setting the vision for the company and developing long- term strategic initiatives. Adam leads the internal executive team and outside board of advisors.
Adam has led a corporate restructuring for growth, increased revenue nearly ten-fold, initiated strategic acquisitions, and launched multiple new Business Units of the Holding Company, including Cheetah Inc.
Adam graduated magna cum laude from Ball State University in Muncie, IN with a degree in Telecommunications with a Corporate Concentration. He also holds a Masters Certification in Business Administration from Ball State University and graduated from Southeastern Trust School at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC.
