We’re excited to welcome David Lewis to the Moneytree team as our new Regional Sales Manager.

With a strong background in sales and a passion for connecting with people, David brings both experience and energy to the role. We caught up with him to learn more about his journey, what he’s excited about, and what keeps him busy outside of work

Can you tell us a bit about your background before joining Moneytree?

I’ve worked in sales and client service for years. Most recently, I did in-home sales, and before that I spent nearly a decade at Navient, where I developed a lot of the skills I still use today — listening closely, communicating clearly, and staying focused on solutions for my clients.

What strengths do you bring to your role at Moneytree?

I’m someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people and finding common ground. Building relationships is a big part of how I approach sales — it’s not just about the product; it’s about making sure it fits. I also like to keep things organized and moving forward, which helps when you’re juggling a lot of conversations and opportunities at once.

What brought you to Moneytree?

I have always loved connecting with people. When I found out there was an opportunity at Moneytree, it felt like a natural fit. I’ve also known Moneytree Product Manager Matt Garrett for years, so I already had a sense of the company culture and the direction the product was heading. It just made sense.

What are you most excited about in your role?

I’m really looking forward to getting more advisors to experience what Moneytree can do. The software speaks for itself once people see how clean and capable it is. I love being part of a team that’s focused on building something that actually helps people. Getting the word out to new prospects is a challenge I’m excited to take on.

What’s something people might not know about you?

Outside of work, life is pretty full. I’m married to my wife, Julie, and we have four kids, Hailie, Max, Harper, and Holly, who are always busy. Between their sports schedules, practices, and games, I stay on the move. I also really enjoy bowling and tackling home projects. Right now, I’m deep into remodeling our master bathroom.

Any final thoughts?

I’m grateful to be here and proud to be part of a company that’s doing meaningful work. I’m excited about what’s ahead — for both me and Moneytree.
